Статья посвящена исследованию малых сатирических жанров (басни и фельетона) в творчестве балкарского писателя О. А. Балаева; впервые с обращением к архивным источникам и периодическим изданиям проведена комплексная работа по выявлению и систематизации данных о личной и творческой биографии автора. Актуальность работы обусловлена необходимостью введения в научный оборот нового фактического материала, выявления типологических характеристик произведений, изучения смысловой организации текстов, определения их тематической структуры. Особое внимание уделяется рассмотрению языковых способов конструирования таких приемов, как аллегоричность, иносказательность, оперативность, нравоучительность, а также способам воплощения дидактических идей, в которых сконцентрированы культурно-специфические характеристики, такие как национальный характер, менталитет и языковое сознание. В результате выявлено, что басни О. Балаева содержат универсальные черты классического жанра, но при этом демонстрируют особый способ фиксации и передачи национально-культурной информации. Произведения отличаются реалистичностью, злободневностью, в них заостряются общечеловеческие проблемы эпохи, философски осмысляется духовный мир современника. Материал, представленный в статье, восполняет информационный пробел, образованный недостаточной изученностью творчества О. Балаева, что позволяет обозначить место и роль писателя в развитии малых сатирических жанров, а также раскрыть влияние общего литературного наследия на развитие младописьменных литератур.
This article examines the short satirical genres (fables and feuilletons) in the works of the Balkar writer Osman Balaev. For the first time, using archival sources and periodicals, a comprehensive study was conducted to identify and systematize data on the author’s personal and creative biography. The relevance of this work stems from the need to introduce new factual material into scholarly circulation, identify the typological characteristics of works, study the semantic organization of texts, and determine their thematic structure. Particular attention is paid to the linguistic methods used to construct such devices as allegory, figurativeness, urgency, and moralizing, as well as to the means of embodying didactic ideas that condense culturally specific characteristics such as national character, mentality, and linguistic consciousness. As a result, it was revealed that Balaev’s fables contain universal features of the classical genre, but at the same time demonstrate a unique way of capturing and conveying national and cultural information. The works are distinguished by their realism and topicality, highlighting the universal human problems of the era and offering a philosophical understanding of the spiritual world of contemporaries. The material presented in this article fills the information gap created by the insufficient study of Balaev’s work, allowing us to identify the writer’s place and role in the development of small satirical genres, as well as to reveal the influence of a common literary heritage on the development of young literary literatures.
