Abstract
The positive influence of Russian literature on the development of national languages and cultures is observed in the diachronic process of the cultural and historical development of various ethnic groups in Russia. The study of the dialogue between Udmurt culture and Russian literature is relevant and is analyzed in the context of the problem of assimilating Pushkin's legacy in the region.
The purpose of the article is to review and systematize the experience of assimilating the traditions of Alexander Pushkin in translations into the Udmurt language of works of all literary genres (lyric, lyric-epic, epic, and drama), in the legacy of such famous Udmurt authors as K. Gerd, F. Vasiliev, and O. Poskrebyshev.
Information on literary, artistic, and theatrical Pushkin’s legacy is provided in chronological order using cultural-historical, comparative-historical, and historical-functional methods.
Particular attention is give n to the scholarly achievements of Professors B. O. Korman and S. A. Fomichev and the literary and local history aspects of studying the life and work of the Russian poet in the regional educational space through museum pedagogy.
An extensive bibliography on the research topic is provided.
